Bila ternyata kemenangan groupmu
Adalah karena adanya pemain asing di dalamnya?

Diceritakan dua laki laki dari dua wilayah berbeda terlibat sebuah percakapan. Meskipun keduanya memiliki bahasa yang berbeda, namun dalam percakapan ini Hercules yang berasal dari Athena mampu memahami bahasa yang diucapkan Gatotkaca. Meskipun demikian, ia tak bisa berbicara dalam bahasa tersebut.

Hercules : Congratulation bro, you won the competition...good job!

Gatot kaca : Apa? Good joke kali, hmmm
(Tampak wajah murung dan sedih)

Hercules : Hei, relax man, what’s wrong with you? You must be
proud of your group. They won the competition.

Gatot kaca : No, no, bukan kami yang menang. Ok, listen...Group atas
nama kota ku memang menang. Tapi lihatlah, semua pemain
drama dari tim ku adalah orang asing, yang bahkan tak
mengerti sama sekali arti dari
dialog dalam drama yang mereka ucapkan. Mereka hanya
menghapal pelafalannya saja. Bahkan pelatih drama nya saja
orang asing, yang pula tidak paham bahasa daerah

Hercules : But they won on behalf of your town. It‘s still an
achievement, right?
(Hercules mengernyitkan dahinya, berpikir)

Gatot kaca : No no no. Aku tidak akan merasa bangga dengan
kemampuan orang asing yang mengatasnamakan kotaku. Lalu
dimana orang-orang asli daerahku? Apa meraka sudah
tidak layak lagi mendapatkan pelatihan dan lesempatan
beradu di ajang kompetisi?
(Bicara dengan sedikit emosional)

Hercules : Hmmmm, I don’t know

Gatot kaca : Aku rasa ini termasuk hal memalukan bila harus berbangga
atas prestasi orang asing yang mengatasnamakan daerahku.
Mereka bukan bagian dari daerahku.

Hercules : So, what do you want?

Gatot kaca : orang yang mewakili suatu wilayah, harus orang asli wilayah
tersebut, bukan orang asing yang bahkan tidak tahu sama
sekali tentang wilayah yang ia wakili. Ini bukan hanya
seksedar kemenangan, tapi apakah kemenangannya itu benar-
benar mewakili daerah yang membanggakannya?

Hercules : So, what will you do?

Gatot kaca : Aku berharap pihak berwenang mampu memahami gejala yang
terjadi. Jangan sampai warga asli terlena dengan
kebanggaannya terhadap orang asing. Masa warga asli kalah
dengan warga asing?

language they spoke in the drama. They just remembered the
sentences. Their instructor doesn’t even know any meaning
of the native language

Hercules : But they won on behalf of your town. It‘s still an

Gatot kaca : No no no. I won’t be proud of foreigner’s ability on behalf
of my town. So, where is my local native? Do they have no
more chance to learn and compete for their pride?

Hercules : Hmmmm, I don’t know

Gatot kaca : I think it is embarrassing if we must be proud of
foreigner’s achievement who competed for our town, they are
not our part.

Hercules : So, what do you want?

Gatot kaca : One who represents a certain town, must one who is a native
of the town, not a person who knows nothing about the town.

Hercules : So, what will you do?

Gatot kaca : I hope the government does something about it. They must be
able to support the native to improve their own ability, so
they can be the representative of their beloved town. How
come foreigners rule the chance of the native?
